Vecarta was founded by Tim Black, a student of the late Professor Donald Shoup — the leading academic voice for data-driven parking reform. Tim previously worked on LA's ExpressPark real-time parking initiative and spent five years on the engineering team at Streetlight Data, where he helped deliver asset-lite approaches to measuring vehicle travel patterns at scale.
